Together, we are making Jesus known!

Our City.  The World.  His Message.

The Atlanta Association of Southern Baptist Churches (AASBC) was established in 2001 to assist member churches in a corporate effort of missions and hands-on ministries that would empower congregations, win communities for Christ and plant churches.  With the influx of various ethnic populations to the Atlanta area, churches find that "All the Earth" is coming to them.

Strongly evangelistic, the AASBC’s goal is to develop healthy Great Commission and Great Commandment churches in the Metro Atlanta area in cooperation with the Georgia Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.

The Association:
  • Accepts the Bible as the basis for belief and practice
  • Embraces fellowship and active participation of a culturally diverse Biblical community of churches
  • Encourages church planting among all people groups
  • Creates teamwork which empowers both laity and professional staff
  • Adopts the Baptist Faith & Message
  • Emphasizes the importance of Christian ministry to the whole person
Through the financial and prayer support of member churches, the Association partners with them in “Together Making Jesus Known."
